2024 Hewlett High School and Woodmere Middle School Fall Sports Information: In order for our teams to properly prepare, it is expected that all student athletes are registered, approved and in attendance on the first day of tryouts/practices and throughout the season, including holiday and recess periods. Please read the following information carefully: All families are asked to create an account, register their child, and desired sport on Family ID. Family ID can be accessed HERE: Hewlett High School Fall Sports start on August 26, 2024 with the exception Football which will start on August 19, 2024. Registration will open on July 29, 2024 and close on August 12, 2024. Any students in grades 9-12 who are interested in playing a Fall sport MUST be registered prior to the closing date on Family ID and submit the registration prior to the closing date. &n

The Boys Winter Track & Field team had a great meet last night at the Class “B” County Championships! Here are some of the highlights… Matthew DeCicco- County Champion 55H (now has won for two straight years) Ilan Krasovitsky- 4th place in the Long Jump (personal best) / All-County in the Triple Jump (personal best) Isaac Abolarinwa- All-County Long Jump Philip Baboloa- 5th place in the Weight Throw (entered the meet as the 12th seed and had a personal best of over 7 feet!) Spring County Championships

Congratulations to Matthew DeCicco on becoming the Section VIII Champion in 110 HH with a PR 14.82. Matthew is a back to back champion. Additionally, he had a big PR for Long Jump 21.7. Congratulations to Kayleigh Jamieson on becoming the 800m Section VIII Champion. Through grit and determination Kayleigh outran her competition to secure the title. Congratulations to Nyla Phillips on becoming the Section VIII 400m Champion. All season long, Nyla has working hard and preparing and through these efforts she was able to secure the title. Congratulations to Jayden Yocahi on becoming the Section VIII Pole Vault Champion. Jayden secured the title in a "jump off' against he Hewlett teammate Maree Drayling. Both athletes pushed each other and through this competitiveness Jayden was able to best Maree at the end. Congratulations to the 4x400 relay team of Kayleigh Jamieson, Nyla Phillips, Valeria Paez, and Marcie Iannico on wing the Section VIII County C
